Welcome to Floto, a service provided by Floto, Inc. ("Floto", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Floto Plugin for Figma ("Floto", the "Service").
By accessing or using Floto, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using Floto on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Overview
Floto is a Figma Plugin that helps users gather design feedback through AI-powered audits, synthetic personas, and real user interviews. The Service is delivered entirely within the Figma platform and may evolve over time as we improve it.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Floto. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use Floto with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Accounts & Access
Access to Floto is granted via your Figma account. By using the plugin, you allow us to access and use your Figma user ID and workspace metadata as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any actions taken through it.
Floto offers individual accounts (Free and Pro) as well as Team accounts for collaborative use. The type of account you hold determines your available features, credit allocation, and billing structure, as described in these Terms.
Credits and Payments
Floto operates on a credit-based system. Free accounts receive 200 credits per week, automatically refreshed every Monday. Pro accounts receive 1,500 credits per month upon renewal. Credit costs for each action are available within the plugin.
Subscription: Pro accounts are billed on a monthly basis at the current rate displayed at checkout. Team accounts are billed on a per-seat, per-month basis at the current rate displayed at checkout. Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.
Credit Packs: Pro users may purchase additional credit packs at any time. All purchases are final.
Non-Transferable: Purchased credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and do not expire.
Weekly Credits: Free plan credits refresh every Monday and do not carry over. Unused weekly credits expire at the end of each 7-day period.
Top-Up Balance: Credits accumulated prior to plan changes, or purchased via credit packs, are held in a top-up balance, are used first, and do not expire.
Team Accounts
Floto offers a Teams plan that allows organizations to collaborate under a shared account. The following terms apply to Team accounts in addition to all other applicable provisions of these Terms.
Team Structure and Roles
A Team account consists of one Admin and any number of Members. Roles and their associated permissions are as follows:
Admin: The individual who creates or is assigned ownership of the Team. The Admin has full administrative control, including managing Members, billing, and account settings.
Member: Any individual added to the Team, with access to the shared workspace and assets as configured by the Admin.
Invitations and Access
Team Members are invited via email. By accepting an invitation, a Member agrees to be bound by these Terms. The Admins are responsible for ensuring that all Members comply with these Terms. Removing a Member from a Team will revoke their access to the shared workspace and any shared assets.
Shared Workspace
Team Members may have access to shared projects, design files, assets, and feedback within the Team workspace. Content contributed to the shared workspace may be visible to all Team Members. You are responsible for any content you contribute to the shared workspace, and you agree not to contribute content that violates these Terms or any applicable law.
Team Credits
Credits on Team accounts are allocated at the team level and shared among all Members. The credit terms described in the "Credits and Payments" section apply to Team accounts. Unused team credits do not carry over between billing periods unless held in a top-up balance.
Team Billing
The Team Admin is responsible for all charges associated with the Team account, including charges for all seats.
Seat Changes: Adding seats takes effect immediately and will be prorated for the remainder of the current billing period. Removing seats takes effect at the start of the next billing period; no partial refunds are issued for removed seats mid-cycle.
Cancellation: If the Team Admin cancels the Teams plan, all Members will lose access to the Team workspace and shared assets at the end of the current billing period.
Delinquency: If payment for a Team account fails, Floto reserves the right to suspend access for all Members of that Team until payment is resolved.
Admin Responsibilities
The Team Admin is responsible for:
Ensuring all invited Members have agreed to and comply with these Terms.
Managing billing and keeping payment information current.
Controlling access to the shared workspace and any sensitive content therein.
Notifying Floto promptly of any unauthorized use or breach of these Terms by a Member.
Floto is not liable for any actions taken by Team Members within the shared workspace.
Referral Program
Floto may offer a referral program that allows eligible users (“Referrers”) to earn rewards for inviting new users (“Referees”) to use the Service.
Eligibility
Referrals are valid only for new users who have not previously created a Floto account.
Referrers and Referees must comply with these Terms at all times.
Referral activity is tracked and attributed through the Floto plugin.
Referral Rewards
Referral rewards are issued as free Floto credits and are reflected in your in-plugin credit balance.
Referral rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be redeemed for cash or other compensation.
Referral rewards may be subject to expiration or usage limits.
Referral Limitations
You may not refer yourself or create multiple accounts to obtain referral rewards.
You may not use spam, automated systems, misleading claims, or paid incentives to generate referrals.
Any attempt to manipulate, abuse, or game the referral program may result in the forfeiture of referral rewards and/or suspension or termination of your account.
Program Changes
Floto reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time, with or without notice.
Referral rewards earned prior to termination may be honored at Floto’s discretion, subject to these Terms.
Use Restrictions
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful or abusive purpose
Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Floto or its infrastructure
Reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of any portion of the Service
Misuse feedback collected via Floto in a deceptive, unethical, or harmful manner
Team Owners and Admins are additionally responsible for ensuring that Members do not engage in any of the above prohibited activities through the shared workspace.
Feedback
If you provide suggestions or feedback about Floto, we may use that feedback without restriction or obligation to you. By submitting feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use and incorporate it into the Service.
Intellectual Property
Floto and all related materials are the property of Floto, Inc. or its licensors. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
Disclaimers
Floto is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use Floto at your own risk. We are not responsible for third-party platforms (including Figma) or user interactions resulting from feedback gathered via Floto.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Floto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Floto at any time, with or without notice, for behavior that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or its users. In the case of Team accounts, suspension or termination of the Owner's account will result in the suspension of all associated Member accounts.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Effective Date" at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes go into effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
